Optimism Brewery may make some fantastic beers, but they also have excellent facilities to offer for the kids. This brewery has its own enclosed kids play area – full of toys and things to keep the little ones busy.

You can relax over a cold beer, knowing that your little ones are happily entertaining themselves. After all, a happy kid means happy parents, right?

The space is large, so it makes for a good indoor activity in Seattle when it rains.

2. Peddler Brewery Company

Peddler Brewery Company in Ballard offers the perfect setting for a family day out. This is one of my favorite kid-friendly breweries in Seattle due to its sizeable beer garden the family can relax in. There is loads of space for kids to run around here, where they can also play a game of corn hole.

In terms of food, Peddler Brewing is next door to the well-loved Mean Sandwich, where you can get some food to go. During weekends and in the evenings, food trucks pull into the brewery to offer even more.

3. Fremont Brewing

Fremont Brewing is always a good choice for families. Of all the breweries in Fremont, this place is one of the most popular options for anyone with kids. This is largely thanks to the spacious areas for kids to run around in.

If you visit during a sunny summer day, the outdoor patio is ideal for a picnic. However, there are indoor and outdoor areas, so you can safely visit here no matter what the weather is doing (I’m looking at you, Seattle rain).

Kids can enjoy the free apples and pretzels that they offer at Fremont Brewing. There are also many great eateries and places to order food from in the area, so there will be no going hungry here. The wide range of brews available will keep parents happily entertained too!
