The Palm Beaches in Florida are made up of many unique little islands. Picking one to stay on as a tourist can be difficult, but Singer Island is an easy choice. It has hotels, restaurants, and even the John D. McArthur State Park.
On my visit, I stayed at the sophisticated Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island. It’s conveniently located 20 minutes north of Palm Beach International Airport. Once I grabbed my rental car, I was on my way to the hotel.
My room was incredibly spacious. Had I not been traveling by myself, I could have easily fit other people comfortably in the room. I had just taken a red-eye from Seattle with a layover and was absolutely exhausted. I can be picky about the firmness of beds and pillows, but this was perfect. I slept soundly every night. The beach decor all around the room was adorable.
One of the best parts of the room was how open it was. As you can see below, there’s several couches to sit on, two TVs, and a giant kitchen. The bathroom also had not only a shower, but a giant soaking tub. The balcony opened up with chairs and a table outside, which I took advantage of every morning with my coffee. You can’t beat coffee with a view of the ocean!
I was impressed with the amount of accommodations the hotel had. There was a pool with a waterslide that was family-friendly (I unfortunately didn’t have a chance/didn’t get the courage with all the small children around to go) It also has a Mexican cantina if you just want to relax with a margarita by the pool. There’s also a separate infinity pool that’s a little quieter and overlooks the beach.
In addition to the cantina by the pool, there’s two other restaurants. The casual Reef Tiki Bar by the beach serves drinks and lunch. 3800 is the only inside restaurant, but each table has beautiful views of the ocean. They’re open for all meals. I had a delicious salmon bagel for breakfast there one morning.
There’s a good-sized fitness center with newer equipment, although I didn’t have the time to try it. Next door is the Si Spa, which I was given a tour of. Tucked away in the corner, I had no idea it was even there at first. The friendly staff can help you make an appointment for everything from a manicure to a body scrub. There’s also a cute boutique store to purchase gifts and clothing from. I definitely wished I had time for one of their services!
Last but not least, you have access to the hotel’s own private beach. This was so convenient to be able to walk down to the beach whenever I wanted, and head back to the room to freshen up or grab a meal in the restaurant as needed. Grab a towel on the way down and choose from a selection of padded beach chairs with umbrellas. The water was a little rough when I was there so I didn’t swim, but I put my feet in the warm water many times. It’s very relaxing to sit there and read, or watch all the boats go by.
Every staff member I encountered at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. With a great location and beautiful rooms, I would love to stay there again in the future.
I stayed at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island as a guest, but all opinions are my own. Rooms start at $207 USD a night.
